About the data
- Transactions whose remarks mention an enclosed balcony, mezzanine or other additions are kept and marked “Additions”: the registered floor area excludes the addition while the price includes its value, so the unit price may be overstated. Tick “Exclude homes with additions” to compare both views; homes with additions tend to be older walk-ups, so excluding them does not necessarily lower the median. Read it together with type and age.
- Source: Ministry of the Interior Real Estate Actual Price Registration, used under the Open Government Data License, version 1.0; open data download.
- Period: loading. Updated twice a month with the official open data; prices are published only after registration, so the latest month or two may be incomplete.
- Only sales that include a building (no land-only or parking-only sales). Special transactions are excluded: related-party sales, defective property, urgent sales, negotiated government purchases, government tenders, superficies, rights conversion, joint-development landowner sales, unregistered inheritance auctions, rooftop additions, unregistered buildings, sales with tenancies, and shell units.
- Addresses are shown only to street, section or lane; house numbers are not shown.
- Unit price is the official unit price converted to NT$10,000 per ping; the official figure already deducts separately priced parking spaces and their area. Where parking is included in the price without a separate figure, the unit price is overstated: it is shown in grey and left out of the median and range.
- Age is the sale date minus the completion date; size is the total transferred building area (including common areas and parking). Actual value also depends on condition, floor, layout and terms; this page is for reference only.
